Folly Farm is a working horse farm on over 175 acres nestled at the base of Talcott Mountain in Simsbury, CT. Home to some of the nation's top hunters, jumpers, and polo ponies, the historic barns and wide open green spaces are the picture of understated elegance.
At Folly Farm, you have all of the options to bring the event of your dreams to life. Our century old barn made from CT red stone and rough hewn oak complete with a beautiful oak deck and surrounding green lawns, makes any event spectacular. The barn itself can seat 80 guests with up to 200 guests accommodated using the adjoining outdoor spaces.
For tented events, we are one of the few event venues in the state able to accommodate even very large parties. We can support tents for 500 guests or even more on our green spaces.
Whether your party is large or small, at Folly Farm you and your guests will relax in a rustic heaven. Our farm becomes yours for the day as you take a stroll to the wooden bridge to see a spring fed waterfall and mountain stream, pose for pictures near the fountain and stocked bass pond, take a hayride around our beautiful paddocks and polo fields...the possibilities are endless.
